The past two months working at Claude Monet’s Garden have been an incredible experience. This place feels unlike any garden I’ve ever visited or worked in. It’s a living canvas shaped through an artist’s eye, and caring for it means leaning into that same way of seeing rather than approaching it with a strictly horticultural mindset.

A huge thank you to all the staff for sharing their knowledge, and to @ashwalkergardening for inspiring me to come here and experience the garden’s magic firsthand.

Keep an eye out for the next HortInsights Journal, where I’ll be sharing an article on the design lessons and horticultural insights I’ve gathered from my time in this extraordinary garden.
