It was such an incredible experience to see The Whimsical Creatures exhibit at The Floral Showhouse come to life!
Back in February 2024, I had the opportunity to travel to Atlanta, Georgia, to help deconstruct these pieces before they were shipped to Niagara Falls. Once they arrived, my classmates and I from the School of Horticulture worked on reassembling them—attaching fabric to each frame and carefully filling them with soil.
This project was not only a chance to learn about the artistry and techniques behind mosaïculture, but also to gain hands-on experience bringing these amazing creations together.
The Whimsical Creatures exhibit was made possible through the collaboration of Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal and the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
