This last month, during my time working for Yards Pty. Ltd. , I’ve had the opportunity to work on different residential and commercial garden spaces. This has been an incredible experience because I’m able to see different garden designs and understand how they function.
Not only have I been observing these gardens, but I’ve also been maintaining them and expanding my knowledge on the different cultural requirements for tropical and subtropical plants.
By working in these gardens, I’ve been reminded that a garden design should be visually pleasing while also remaining functional. It’s important to understand the cultural requirements of plants when creating a design in order to select plants that will thrive in the respective space.
This first month working in Australia has flown by already, I’m excited to see what the upcoming months bring!
Here are some of the beautiful garden spaces I’ve had the pleasure of working on.
