Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show 2024

The Dementia Society Garden presented by The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County, designed by Elissa Astorino.

This garden tells the story of the unconditional love between a mother with dementia and her daughter. It aims to show that even when the sun has set, there are still stars to brighten the night. This garden is supported by The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County as well as Memory Walk & Jog.

Raising awareness for dementia is the key aim of this garden. Memory Walk & Jog hosts walks for dementia all around Australia and will be hosting a walk at Princes Park, Carlton North on May 5th 2024 to raise awareness for those living with dementia in Australia.
